If you haven't heard already there has been a new Regulation introduced in June 2014 that means you can't use 0800, 0845, or any other 08 number when dealing with customers over the phone. For more information click here to see the full details of the regulation changes that are now affecting you.
What does this new Regulation mean!?
- 0800, 0845, 0870's etc. CAN NOT be used for post-sale customer service purposes.
- All existing post-sale customer service numbers will need to be replaced with 01,02 or 03 numbers.
What are the repercussions if we don't comply?
- You will be made to refund every individual caller for the costs they have incurred by calling non 01, 02 or 03 telephone numbers.

Here's what we'll do to get you on the right side of the law:

Set up a FREE 01, 02 or 03 number for use by your customer service / post-sales department bringing your company in line with the new law instantly. (This number will operate EXACTLY as the old 0800, 0845, 0870 etc. did.)

Slowly phase out your now dated 0800, 0845, 0870's etc. by putting a recording or divert advising customers to call you on the new 01, 02 or 03 number. (The phasing out doesn't mean the number will be cut off, but it will have to be removed from websites, stationary, and adverts to avoid incurring a fine.)
